An inspiring Weekend!
I had a very inspiring weekend in KL. I went there for Synergy WorldWide founders tour and Dan Higginson was there and was as usual, inspiring.Let me share what the president of a US$100 million company with 7 year history has to share on Synergy's 7th yearanniversary.
Dan is 34 this year and used to work in Covey Leadership Institute and his mentor is Steve Covey. Many of you will know who that is: the popular author of "7 habits of highly effective people" and Dan had a near death experience that changed his life. He caught hepetitis and almost died from it. He was especially traumatised becos the doc basically said, there is nothing we can do and lets leave it to God.
Miraculously, he then recovered and the near death experience made him question life and also fan his desire to set up a company to promote Health called "Synergy World Wide". He wants to promote health through the natural means... preventive and curative...
The shocking part was not that SWW was founded as we all know the story of his founding but that he shared that even though Synergy World Wide is founded by him and it means a lot to him. synergy World wide is 4th priority in his life... hmmmmm.... for a many who founded a US$100 million company... how can that be fourth priority... well it is! And the other 3 are 1) God (spiritual life) 2) Family 3) Friends 4) Synergy (business or work). Dan can be consuidered a successful man (who reading this owns a $100 million a year company? *grin). Think abt this: if he formulated his life around the 4 priroties and is so successful... what are our priorities in life? Something we can learn here?
He also shared his 4 princples of Ls in his life. its not Longan,LiuLian, Lambutan and Llose Loyce.... :p Well its being able to Live Life to the fullest, Love the people around you, Learn at all times and Leave a Legacy (what do you want people to remember you for). think abt the priorities and the 4 L and you know the 99% of singaporeans are not there.... are you? Think abt that for a while... you want a formula to be successful? you got it!

Sorry to break this to you, but Dan Higginson was no where around when Synergy was founded.
Google the info, take a look at the publication Entrepeneur Magazine, June 2000 top 100 companies. Synergy Worldwide was #8 and Dan Higginson's name is no where on there.....
Sorry, you are being lied to. Then and probably still.
